Who is The Grounded ADHD Co. for?
TGA is built for those who have felt misunderstood, overlooked, or just out of sync with the way the world expects them to operate. TGA is designed with a specific experience in mind, rather than a specific group of people.
Do I need a formal ADHD diagnosis to work with you?
No, a formal ADHD diagnosis is not required to work with TGA. As long as you resonate with the ADHD experience, you are a good fit here.
Is coaching the same as therapy?
No–and it doesn't try to be. Coaching is practical, forward-focused, and action oriented. While therapy often explore the deeper roots of why you think & feel the way you do, coaching is focused on building the systems and strategies to help you move forward.
What does a typical coaching session look like?
Just as no two brains are the same, no two sessions are the same. But generally, sessions start by identifying where you are & what you're working on to build a practical strategy which leaves you with clear action items to implement.
What is Anchor Week/live support days via Signal?
Anchor weeks are six days of live support via Signal, starting the day after your session. It's designed to keep you accountable & follow through on your action items–not just leave the session with good intentions. Office hours run Monday-Thursday 9AM-5PM EST.
Can I do coaching if I'm already in therapy?
Absolutely–the two work really well together. Therapy does its thing, and coaching does this. At TGA, we see coaching as therapy-adjacent; they complement instead of compete.
